Allan Simonsen (born December 15, 1952 in Copenhagen) is a former Danish football (soccer) player and now manager, the European Footballer of the Year in 1977.
On the club level, Simonsen played for Vejle BK , Borussia Mönchengladbach, and FC Barcelona. For Denmark, Simonsen was capped 56 times, scoring 21 goals. He went on to coach the Luxembourg national team.
