Shahid Minar(Monument of Martyr), the erstwhile Ochterlony Monument,is located in Maidan in Calcutta.It is place of much funfare now.Every Sunday, there is huge gathering of people in the ground adjoining the minar.Several road shows like Juggling,Rope balance acts etc are showed.
