SK Slovan Bratislava is a Slovak football team, based in Bratislava. The club became the second Eastern European team to win a major European trohpy, winning the Cup Winners' Cup in 1969 (Dinamo Zagreb won the UEFA Cup in 1967). Slovan and its predecessors, NV Bratislava and SK Bratislava, won the Czechoslovak title eight times and the Slovak title eight times as well.
