Super Bowl XLIV will be the 44th Super Bowl, the annual championship of the NFL between the National Football Conference and American Football Conference champions. The game will be played on February 7, 2010. On Wednesday, March 23, 2005, the NFL voted and agreed to have the City of New York host the game contingent on the fact that the proposed West Side Stadium, to be built for the New York Jets, is completed by 2008. The game will be televised on CBS.
